DESCRIPTION:Dying\, death\, loss and caregiving affects us all. It is happening within our families and community. How can we prepare ourselves and the places we live\, work and play\, to support those we love? How can we promote values and actions in Ottawa so that dying is seen as everyone’s responsibility\, not only that of health professionals? \nPlease join us for a stimulating presentation and conversation with Dr. Allan Kellehear\, international champion\, to learn about the public health approach to palliative care. Allan will share examples where individuals\, communities and health care providers worked together to promote Compassionate Communities.
